A Destination

Nestled in the side of Hockley Valley, right across from the Hockley Valley Provincial Reserve, the Black Birch Restaurant offers an escape from the busy life of the city, while at the same time treating the palate to the tastes of fine food with perfectly paired wine or local beer. It is a perfect balance of country setting and fine dining. We are open for lunch and dinner seven days a week as well as Sunday brunch.

The Black Birch Restaurant is a great place to meet family and friends. Year round, you can enjoy bird watching as a wide range of Hockley Valley's most colourful local birds stop by to eat only a few feet outside the windows of the dining room. It's a rare chance to see them so close without needing binoculars. Male and female, small flocks, and solo birds all drop in morning to night.

Stunning fall colours

Hockley Valley explodes into a fiery burst of colour every fall, and the Black Birch is right in the middle of it all.

BIRD WATCHING

Local birds constantly visit the bird feeders just outside the dining room windows, for an up-close view of their exotic colours: reds, blues, yellows, and more.

LOCAL ART

Enjoy your dinner surrounded by the works of local artists and local Hockley Valley scenes on the walls.
